Competed in each of the Lions seven events…Registered a personal-best time of 28:16.75 at the USF Invitational 8K.

Competed in each of the Lions seven races… Participated in five 8K’s, one 5K, and one four-mile run...His best performance came at the Sunshine State Conference Championships (11/06/10) where he finished with a career-best time of 28:16.16…Finished under 30 minutes in each race...His SSC time currently stands as the Lions' eighth fastest in program history.

Dirth had a very successful freshman season in which he ran in all seven events. His best finish came at the 2009 SSC Championships on 10/24/09 when he ran a 30:01.40…Dirth also had a strong performance at the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational on 9/18/09 where he ran a 30:34:50.

Dirth was a two-time all-conference runner…He was named team captain two and was a all-conference baseball and soccer player at Fort Madison Senior HS.

Dirth was born January 30 in Burlington, Iowa…Communications major…His hobbies include playing and watching sports…His career goal is to receive his degree in both communications and mathematics…Names the Indianapolis Colts his favorite team and Bob Sanders his favorite athlete…He chose Saint Leo because, “You’ll love the person you become here.”…Son of Todd and Cheryl Dirth…Has two brothers, Tom and Tony…His brother Tony ran cross country from 2004-2007 at Saint Leo University.
