Lions Ready for Embry Riddle Challenge

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University men's and women's track team is primed and ready for Saturday's ERAU Indoor/Outdoor Challenge slated to take place at the ERAU Track & Field Complex in Daytona, Fla.

The Lions will participate in 11 events total, with the men running six and the women running in five events.  Andrea Maxwell, Kylie Fagan, and Anet Milian will open things up with the 800 Meter Run, followed immediately by James Mullin, Matthew Basin, David Gardner, Patrick Hill, and Adam Urbaniak running the men's 800 Meter.

After a brief break, Basin Hill, Urbaniak and Gardner will take to the lanes once again when they compete in the 1000 Meter event, which will be followed by Natalie McCormick and Shelby Adams in the One Mile.  Kevin Papac, Steven Brown, and Mullin are scheduled to run the men's One Mile, as well.

The 3000 Meter comes next, with Jelena Tancic, Elyse Snyder, Lee Ann Antuna, Allison Knipe, Urbaniak, and Basin all taking part before Rafael Lohner wraps up the Lions' individual events with an appearance in the 5000 Meter Run.

The Green and Gold will participate in four relay events, with the women and mean each having a team participate in the 4x400 and 4x800 Meter Relays.

After Saturday's meet, the Lions return to action on Saturday, February 22, when they participate in the ERAU Last Chance Meet, which will also be at the ERAU Track & Field Complex.
