WINTER PARK, Fla. – Saint Leo senior Ismail Lemtouni has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week presented by VALIC.
Lemtouni led the No. 8 Lions to a pair of 7-2 victories over Flagler and Coastal Georgia during the Lions' opening weekend. The South Region's No. 18 singles player won both his matches in straight-sets. He defeated Flagler's Uriel Oquendo 7-5, 6-3 and Coastal Georgia's Malhar Mali 7-6 (6), 6-2. Teamed with Bruno Sisti, Lemtouni captured two doubles victories, one at No. 1 and one No. 2 doubles, by a score of 8-3.

The Lions return to action on Wednesday, February 12, when they host Florida Southern. Match time against the Moccasins is set for 3:00 p.m.
