Men’s Tennis Continues Action at Columbus Fall Invite

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Saint Leo men's tennis team posted 11 wins on day two of the Columbus State Fall Invitational held at the Blackmon Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions posted wins in three-of-four doubles matches, including a an impressive 8-5 win by Saint Leo's tandem of Matt Nicholson-Lewis and Ismail Lemtouni over Shorter's Lefevre and Ferreria.

Singles was just as successful for the Lions as a pair of Lions earned two wins apiece, including Matt Nicholson-Lewis and Aloua Adejenak. Nicholson-Lewis ousted Columbus State's Divljak 7-5 and 6-3. Nicholson-Lewis and Adjenak both battled back after a one set deficit to hence defeat their opponents.
