SAINT LEO, Fla. – Both the Saint Leo men’s and women’s tennis teams concluded their 2011 regular season ranked in the top-50 of the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Top-50 poll, it was announced Friday. The men catapulted six spots to finish No.21 while the women slipped four spots falling to No.31.
BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No.27 Saint Leo men’s tennis team (14-11) was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament action on Sunday, dropping the opening match of the NCAA South Region competition, 5-0, Sunday afternoon from the Perper Tennis Complex in Boca Raton, Fla.
SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men’s tennis freshman, Victor Lozier, was selected Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year, it was announced Thursday by SSC Commissioner Jay Jones. In addition, Lozier earned a spot on the All-SSC First Team as did the doubles duo of Lozier and Matt Nicholson-Lewis. Individually, Nicholson-Lewis and Aloua Adjenak were chosen All-SSC Second Team.
