Saint Leo Men’s and Women’s Swimming earn CSCAA Scholar All-America honors

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Both Saint Leo men's and women's swimming teams earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors after posting grade point averages above 3.0 during the spring 2017 semester, announced Wednesday, June 21.

The women's team outperformed its men's counterparts with a 3.51 team grade point average and were among seven Sunshine State Conference schools on the CSCAA Scholar All-America team list. The men were among six SSC teams listed on the CSCAA Scholar All-America team list with a 3.08 GPA.

To be eligible, teams had to achieve a 3.00 or higher team GPA over the Spring 2017 semester. A total of 720 teams across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA were recognized.
