Men's Swimming Eyes Final Day of NSU Invite with Fifth Place Result

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Saint Leo men's swim team managed to hold onto fifth place as the Lions have totaled 296 points after three days of competition at the NSU Shark Invitational with the final day coming on Tuesday.  

Rhet Rheinlander represented Saint Leo in the 100 Back with an 11th place result and a time of 52.28 while Jan Dahrendorff finished sixth in the 100 Breaststroke with an impressive time of 58.80 as two of the Lions' top performers on the third day of competition.

In the day's final event, the 800 Free Relay, the Lions saw their 'B' relay team of Rheinlander, Dillon Kasson, Michael Marino and Justin Wulff finish 11th with a time of 7:10.06.

Just one day remains in the pre-conference meet as the Lions will be back at the NSU Aquatics Center for the first competition of the final day at around 9:30 a.m.
