CHARLOTTE, NC – The Saint Leo men’s swim team continued their efforts at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships, Thursday in Charlotte, NC in a preliminary round.
The 12-event round saw the Lions compete in multiple races, culminating into a 34 point, 10th place finish heading into Friday’s events.
On the individual side, Tim Olson swam a fantastic 1:58.49 in the 200 IM, finishing just five seconds behind eventual heat champion, Aleksander Hetland of Tampa.
With no other single events, the Lions attention shifted to the relay and medley teams, as Saint Leo had a chance to move up in the standing with strong finishes.
