Indianapolis, Ind. (July 20, 2006) - The Saint Leo University men's swim team had the 13th highest team grade point average for the 2005-06 school year among Division II teams and in the process earned Academic All-America honors from the Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America.

The Lions, coached by Cyle Sage, had a team GPA of 2.95. The University of Missouri-Rolla led the way at 3.38. Other Sunshine State Conference schools with swim programs who were ranked in the Top 20 included the University of Tampa, ninth, and Rollins College, 14th.

Leading the way for Saint Leo was senior Ken Corigliano of Bradenton, Fla., with a 4.00 GPA, sophomore Keiron Timothy of Bonair-Arouca, Trindad Tobago 3.80 and junior Tony Dirth of Waterloo, IA at 3.69.
