Men’s Soccer to Host Free Match and Clinic with US U-17 Men’s National Team

Free Player Clinic and Match Set for Wednesday, April 16

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team will wrap up its 2014 spring campaign with a night of top notch soccer for both players and fans, free of charge.  The Lions will host a free clinic alongside the US U-17 National Team, and will then take to the pitch in an exhibition against the U-17's starting at 7:30 p.m.

Eight of the National Team players have recently signed professional contracts to play in Europe, and with the Lions coming off of one of their most successful seasons in program history the match is sure to be an entertaining night for all in attendance.

The youth player clinic before the match will run from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. on the Lions' practice field, and will be available for players ages 6-13.  Participants will be coached by players and coaches from both squads, with an autograph session available for participants after the clinic.
