Men’s Soccer Breaks into NSCAA/Continental Tires Top-25

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Beginning the 2012 season with two victories, including a 1-0 win over in-region foe the University of West Florida, the Saint Leo University men's soccer team earned a spot in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) top-25 poll, it was announced Tuesday.

Coming in at No.25, the Lions make their first appearance in the rankings since being ranked No.24 in the September 27, 2011 poll.

Additionally, three other Sunshine State Conference schools earned a spot in the nation's top-25, including Lynn (2), Tampa (10), and Rollins (17).

The Lions will now begin preparations for SSC play as they will head to Boca Raton, Fla. to challenge No.2-ranked Lynn.  Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
