Men’s Soccer Stays in NSCAA Top-25
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Despite dropping a 2-1, double overtime decision to No.2-ranked Rollins last week, the Saint Leo men's soccer team maintained its positions as one of the country's elite, coming in at No.25 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Top-25 poll, it was announced on Tuesday.
The narrow loss to the Tars saw the Lions dip nine spots from their No.16 ranking in last week's poll.
Saint Leo is one of four Sunshine State Conference teams represented in this week's rankings as Rollins (2), Barry (5), and Lynn (18) all make appearances.
The Lions are still ranked in the top half of the latest NSCAA South Region rankings, falling just one spot to No.4 in the SSC dominated poll.
The Lions will look to get back on track this Friday as they head to south Florida to battle Nova Southeastern in SSC action. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. For the latest news, information, and updates on the men's soccer team, visit SaintLeoLions.com
