SAINT LEO, Fla. – During the 2009 Saint Leo University Lacrosse championship season local high school senior Josh Lane and his production company, Josh Lane Productions, decided to follow Head Coach Brad Jorgensen and the Saint Leo Lacrosse team as he produced a documentary titled ‘The Road to Respect’.  The short film highlights the trials the Lions have had since the program’s inception in 2005.

After its release on both YouTube and InsideLacrosse, the video received rave reviews around the lacrosse community and has logged over 2,000 views on YouTube alone in less than a month online.

From Josh Lane – “My small crew and I had the opportunity to film practice and (conduct) interviews, as well as go inside the locker room on game day to create the six minute documentary based on the SLU lacrosse program from the early days to where it is now.  The documentary was created for my final high school film festival, and thus far it has taken 1st in the District and in the Tampa Bay region and we move on to the state competition.  In addition, I've also had the documentary run on InsideLacrosse and it is currently on my YouTube page.”

A native of Pasco County, Lane is a recent graduate of Wesley Chapel High School and will be attending the University of Florida.  He also works as a video editor for
