AS A SENIOR (2010)
Bova had a career year in 2010, competing in 14-of-15 contests…He tied a career-high nine goals and added a personal-best 10 assists for 19 points…He fired 48 shots and collected one game-winning goal…In addition, Bova amassed 10 ground balls…In his best performances of the season, Bova put together a pair of hat tricks and one three-assist game…His first hat trick came in a 17-4 win over S. New Hampshire (3/23/10)…He followed with a three-goal game against Florida Southern (4/10/10)…He totaled three assists in an 18-9 win over St. Andrew’s (3/5/10).
AS A JUNIOR (2009)
Bova was the model of consistency for the Lions appearing in all 14 games…He closed the 2009 campaign with his second consecutive nine-goal season, 14 points and career-high five assists…The junior compiled nine ground balls and two game-winning goals…He had a .321 shooting percentage and posted the fifth man-up goal of his career…Bova’s best performance of the season came at the Deep South Conference Tournament final, when he scored a career-high three goals in the win…He also had a season-high two assists in the first of two meetings against Wingate (03/03/09)...In the second game, he posted the game-winning tally over Wingate (04/17/09) in the DSC Tournament semifinal …He had four contests of two or more ground balls and accumulated a .500 shot-on-goal percentage.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2008)
Bova continued to produce during his sophomore season appearing in 12 games…He finished the season with nine goals, one assist and 10 points…He fired 25 shots on goal and tallied one game winning goal and one man-up goal…He picked up 15 ground balls and had a .431 shot-on-goal percentage.
AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
Bova appeared in all 15 games during his freshman season for the Lions…He was fourth on the team in goals scored with 12 and closed the season with 16 points…He picked up 22 ground balls, 24 shots on goal and three man-up goals.
Won Top Gun Award junior and senior years...Named all- conference junior and senior year…All-state his senior year
