SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University's 2016 national championship men's golf team will be honored during halftime ceremonies of the Saint Leo men's basketball game against Barry University on Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
The halftime celebration of the team's 2016 NCAA Division II crown will begin with the recognition of sophomore Hugo Bernard as Saint Leo's first individual national championship, and then continue with the unveiling of the national championship banner and acknowledgement of the members of the 2015-16 Saint Leo men's golf team in attendance.

Bernard was crowned as the individual national champion, the first in Saint Leo history, with a 13-under (203) atop the individual leaderboard at the conclusion of stroke play.
Tip-off for the Saint Leo-Barry men's basketball is slated for 4:00 p.m., following the women's basketball game between the Lions and the Buccaneers at 2:00 p.m.
Ticket prices are $5 for adults, and $4 for visiting students and senior citizens. Children-under-12, and all Saint Leo faculty, staff, and students with a valid Saint Leo I.D. are admitted free of charge. Ticket booths will open at 1:00 p.m., and the admission ticket is good for both games.
