Men's Golf Prepares For AFLAC Cougar Invitational

 

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Saint Leo University men's golf team heads to Columbus, Ga. on Monday to tee off at the AFLAC Cougar Invitational. The tournament, taking place Monday and Tuesday, will be played at the Country Club of Columbus. 

In addition to Saint Leo, the tournament field consists of: Carson-Newman, Clayton State, Coker College, Columbus State, Delta State, Florida Southern, Florida Tech, Georgia Coll. & State, Georgia Southwestern, Lander, North Alabama, Queen's University of Charlotte, UNC Pembroke, Valdosta State, and West Georgia. 

The Saint Leo men's squad is looking to keep its momentum after a strong fourth place finish at the Jay Jennison Memorial Tournament just this past week. Freshman Trevor Joseph led the team after he shot a 66 in the opening round and was atop the leaderboard for much of the tournament.
