Men's Golf Opens Fall Play at Jay Jennison Memorial

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Saint Leo University men's golf team opens up its fall campaign on Monday, Sep. 24 at the Jay Jennison Memorial at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine, Fla. The par-72 Palencia course, which opened in 2002, features 7,071 yards of golf.

The two-day tournament features 15 teams including: Flagler, Montevallo, Wilmington, Lander, Rollins, Eckerd, Anderson, Tampa, AASU, Mount Olive, Newberry, Coker, Barry, and Lynn.

"We have progressed in our practices and I, along with Coach Halligan, have seen a team with high expectations as well as a team that shows very good promise," Head Coach Ray Cisbani said.  "We need to believe in ourselves and trust what we know and never think that we are out of the event.  If they play and think the way they have been showing in practice they will do very well."
