Saint Leo men's basketball jumps to #9 in D2SIDA South Regional Media Poll

SAINT LEO, Fla. – With a win over Nova Southeastern, the Saint Leo men's basketball team jumped to No. 9 in the South Region as the Week 10 poll was announced by the D2SIDA South Regional Media Poll on Monday afternoon.

The Lions, who ranked No. 10 last week, took the road to NSU, taking the game 80-61 behind a career-night from sophomore Tyreece BriceBrice came off the bench to finish the game with a career-best 26 points, adding another career-best and a team-high nine rebounds, falling just shy of a double-double. He hit a career-high 10 shots, on 71.4-percent from the field.

Saint Leo hosts nationally-ranked No.5/6 Eckerd on Wednesday, at 7:30 PM. The match up will feature the Tritons, who are 8-0 in Sunshine State Conference play, and the Lions who are 10-2 in the Marion Bowman Activities Center. 

Wednesday will also be Florida Hospital Appreciation Night. Saint Leo Athletics will be honoring Florida Hospital for their donation for the new video boards and scoreboards that grace the walls of the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
