Former Saint Leo Standout Jordan Prais Joins the Heartland Prowl

All-Time Scoring Leader will Debut for the Heartland Prowl on May 14

LAKELAND, Fla. - Former Saint Leo standout Jordan Prais has agreed to join the Heartland Prowl for the 2011 season it was announced by the Continental Basketball League team's owner Levi Williams. Prais, a Lakeland, Fla. native, heads to the Prowl after wrapping up a successful collegiate career in 2010.

Prais concluded his four-year SLU career as the Lions' all-time leading scorer amongst four-year players with 1820 points and was also named to the All-SSC Second Team as he finished the 2009-10 season with the Lions' scoring title, averaging 18.6 points and 30 minutes per game.

The powerful forward led the Lions in a numbers of categories during most of his career, including rebounds per game and field goal percentage.

The all-time leading rebounder (878) and free-throw shooter (503) at Saint Leo, Prais set a new career-mark when he dropped in 35 points on December 30, 2009 against Nova Southeastern.

Excited about the addition of Prais and their upcoming season, the Prowl will open up on the road on May 14th in Orlando, Fla. as they take on the Florida Flight.

The Continental Basketball League, an independent minor basketball league currently operating in the Southeastern United States, fields 10 teams playing across four states. The CBL operates out of its home office located in Pembroke Pines, Fla. and carries a season's schedule from early-May through late-June.
