Lions Take Game Two of Doubleheader against Florida Tech, 4-2

FINAL—Game 1: Florida Tech 2, Saint Leo 1 – (Saint Leo, Fla. – Thomas B. Southard Stadium)

AT A GLANCE: In the second pitchers' duel in as many games the Lions once again came up on the losing end after a stellar pitching performance from starter Rick Teasley (3-3). Both teamed totaled seven hits on the afternoon, but Florida Tech limited the Lions' rally in the sixth when Saint Leo scored its lone run of the game.

AT A GLANCE: In a tie ballgame going into the fifth inning the Lions rallied for three runs which proved to be enough to hold off the Panthers to salvage one game of this three-game series. Lions' starter Matt Hewitt tossed 3.1 innings, allowing just one run, and then the bullpen came though over the course of the next 3.2 innings to put away Florida Tech.

Next up for Saint Leo is a midweek game this coming Tuesday when the Lions travel to Warner University. First pitch of that game is set for 3:00 p.m.
