AS A SENIOR (2013)
Named Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 25…As a senior Hewitt appeared in 22 games, tossing 42.1 innings as a starter and a reliever…Posted an ERA of 3.83 and tallied 33 strikeouts…Tied for the second on the team with five wins…Held batters to a .273 average against him…Pitched six innings in relief on Feb 18 against Albany State, allowing no runs and just three hits en route to the win.     

AS A JUNIOR (2012)
Made 17 appearances out of the bullpen in his junior campaign…Had an ERA of 2.53, the lowest on the staff of pitchers with over 20 innings pitched…Collected 25 strikeouts in 21.1 innings of work…Had eight multiple-strikeout appearances…Had a season-high five strikeouts in the season opener against North Georgia…Earned the win on Mar. 20 against Georgia Southwestern after tossing 1.2 innings while striking out four and not surrendering any hits or runs. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011) 
Hewitt appeared in 13 games on the mound for the Lions, making three starts…Struck out 12 batters in 28.1 innings…Collected a season-high four strikeouts against Eckerd (05/01/11)…In his best start of the season, Hewitt surrendered two earned runs in 6.0 innings of work against Saint Anselm (02/27/11).

AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
Hewitt had a solid season appearing in nine games while starting four of them and posting a 1-0 record for the Lions as a freshman…He pitched a total of 26.2 innings including 14 strike outs…His most impressive performance was against Saint Anselm College (03/01/10) where he pitched four innings giving four hits, two walks and zero earned runs providing the solid pitching the Lions would need to pick up the win.

CAREER
Attended Mitchell High School…As a sophomore at Mitchell, Hewitt was named Co-Pitcher of the Year…He was also tabbed First Team All-North Suncoast Conference as a senior, as well as Honorable Mention All-Suncoast and a member of the Seminole All-Tournament team.
