AS A JUNIOR (2011)
All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team…Brown was third on the team in batting with a .337 average…Led team in RBI (37), triples (5) and Home runs (4)…Collected 60 hits…Scored 29 runs…Stole 13 bases…Accumulated a .358 on-base percentage…Gathered a .486 slugging percentage…Registered 19 multiple-hit games, including seven with three or more…Amassed an eight-game hitting streak…In his most outstanding performance of the season, Brown went 4-for-4 with his only multiple-home run contest of the season, and driving in a season-best six runs.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Brown started in 53 games for the Lions as a sophomore…He closed the season batting .336 with 75 hits, 38 runs scored and 44 RBI in 223 at bats…He tallied 25 multi-hit games including 13 doubles, four triples and five homeruns…He also got it done on the base paths as he led the Lions with 19 stolen bases this season…His most impressive game this year was in a conference bout against Lynn University (03/13/10) where he went 4-for-5 with four doubles three RBI and two runs scored…He also tied a career high four RBI against Southeastern (02/17/10) and tied another career high with two homeruns against Valdosta State (04/06/10).
AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
The freshman appeared in 51 games for the Lions, starting each contest…Offensively, Brown was tremendous at the plate leading the team with a .357 batting average (70-for-196)…He was second on the team with 28 extra-base hits, including a team-leading 18 doubles while tying for the team-lead in RBI with 42…Brown closed the season second on the team with a .587 slugging percentage and 48 runs scored…He was also second on the team in total bases with 115 and hits with 70…His seven home runs tied him for third on the squad, as did his three triples and 13 stolen bases (13-for-17)…Defensively, he was a .977 fielder committing only three errors…He had 19 multiple-hit games, 10 games of two or more runs batted in and 10 games of two or more runs scored…In his best overall performance of the season, Brown went 4-for-4 with a two runs scored and a RBI against Valdosta State (2/14/09)…He had to two 4-for-4 performances on the season…He knocked in a career-high four RBI runs against Florida Tech (5/10/09) and scored a career-best three runs on four separate occasions…His efforts on the field earned him Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year honors, while being named to the All-SSC Honorable Mention squad.
Named 2007 second team All-State and All-Conference…In 2008, he was named first team All-Conference and third team All-State.
