SAINT LEO, Fla. –
Thomas Tatarian of the No. 6 Saint Leo men's lacrosse team was named Sunshine State Defensive Player of the Week for his work against Rollins on Wednesday. The honor is Tatarian's fourth of season, sixth all-time.
The redshirt-junior showcased an outstanding 60 minutes inside the crease racking up 23 saves while showcasing a .697 save percentage against the Tars. Tatarian faced 47 shots, 33 on frame. He collected four saves in the first, eight in the second, six in the third and five in the fourth.
The Lions return to action on Wednesday, April 11 at Florida Southern for a 7:00 p.m. game start.
