SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo softball climbs in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Coaches Poll to No. 20, when the NFCA released the eighth weekly rankings for Division II.

Saint Leo posted a 3-0 week after a Sunshine State Conference series sweep of Barry University, 4-1, 10-1 (6 inns.), 7-1.

The Lions were joined by Palm Beach Atlantic as the two teams from the SSC in the NFCA Coaches Poll, where Embry-Riddle received votes. The Sailfish held steady in fourth in the poll where the Lions climbed four spots to 20th.
 
Saint Leo returns to action April 20-21 in Tampa against the University of Tampa with first pitch Friday at 6 p.m. The Lions and Spartans will then faceoff in a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m.
