Kyle Pauwels was named among Tuesday's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Team of the Week. The senior on the Saint Leo men's lacrosse team showcased a seven-goal, two-assist, nine-point week. He led the then No.14 Saint Leo Lions' 17-12 win over the then No. 16 Lindenwood Lions on Wednesday. His .643 shooting percentage game netting nine goals off 13 shots was paired with two ground balls.
On the season, Pauwels has accumulated a .590 shooting percentage, scoring 23 goals from 39 shots. He has racked up 36 points adding 13 assists to the season.
The 6-1 No. 10 Saint Leo Lions open play in the Sunshine State Conference on Saturday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. hosting the Embry-Riddle Eagles.
