SAINT LEO, Fla. –
Thomas Tatarian and
Jake Gilmour were named to the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week for the week of February 27 for their work against no. 7 New York Institute of Technology on Sunday. During the top 15 showdown, No. 15 Saint Leo downed No. 7 NYIT.
Tatarian totaled 24 saves in the game against the Bears, breaking Saint Leo's program-record for most saves in a single game.
On the other side of the turf, Gilmour scored four goals, two assists for a six-point game.
The victory raised the Lions' ranking in the USILA DII Coaches poll to No. 11.
Saint Leo travels to No. 11 Mount Olive on Saturday, March 3 for a noon faceoff.
