SAINT LEO, Fla. – Jake Gilmour was named the Sunshine State Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for his 2018 opening work week.

Gilmour jumpstarted Saint Leo 5-0 at Alabama-Huntsville, scoring three goals in a five-minute span during the first quarter in Saturday's season opener. The senior attacker continued to impact the game, earning seven points from three goals and four assists. The Lions sealed an 18-10 final, posting a 1-0 season start.

Saint Leo returns to action on Saturday, February 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lions' season opener against Lincoln Memorial.
