SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference selected Jake Gilmour and Thomas Tatarian as the SSC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week. The Offensive Player of the Week title awarded to Jake Gimour is his second of the second, fifth career. The honor marks Thomas Tatarian's second time this season to be named Defensive Player of the Week, his fourth in his career.

The No. 15 Saint Leo Lions upset No. 7 NYIT 18-10 on Sunday afternoon. The USILA showdown marked a new record for Saint Leo's single game record book. With 24 saves, goalie Thomas Tatarian set the program's single game save record after facing 48 shots in the full 60 minutes of play.

Jake Gilmour led the Lions offense scoring four goals and two assists, tallying six points. Gilmour netted the Lions' seventh, tenth, 16^th and 17^th goals in the victory. In addition, he picked up two ground balls.
Saint Leo returns to action on Saturday, March 3 at 12:00 p.m. on the road at No. 11 Mount Olive.
