SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's lacrosse senior attacker,
Kyle Pauwels was named among the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Saint Leo coasted to a 20-6 home opener win over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday.
Pauwels earned nine points scoring three goals off five shots and assisted in six while picking up three ground balls. Four of his six assists came in the first six minutes of play as the Lions posted a 5-0 start over the Railsplitters.
In addition to his USILA DII Team of the Week, Pauwels was named Sunshine State Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.
