SAINT LEO, Fla. – With its first season around the corner, the Saint Leo beach volleyball team unveiled its 2018 schedule Wednesday, which features a home tournament in March.
 
"We don't think we could be happier with the schedule we put together for our first season of competition," Saint Leo assistant coach for Beach Volleyball Erik Peterson stated. "I am really excited about the opportunity to have four home contests against some great regional opponents. I cannot wait to showcase this new sport in front of our great home fan base."
 
Saint Leo will hold a Green and Gold scrimmage at 3 p.m. on March 8 before kicking off its inaugural season with an away tri-match at Florida Southern against the Moccasins and Stevenson on March 17.
 
Following a trip to Tampa on March 20, the Lions will host a five-team tournament on March 23-24 before hosting Tampa on April 3 at 3 p.m.
 
Closing out the season, the Green and Gold will head to the AVCA Small College Championship in Tavares, Fla. April 7-8.
