SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo sophomore, Anna Garrett, was named the Sunshine State Conference Setter of the Week for the second time this season. Garrett helped the No. 21 Saint Leo volleyball team to a 2-1 record including a 3-0 win over Flagler and a 3-1 win in the Sunshine State Conference opener against Rollins. 

Garrett is awarded her second Setter of the Week honor of 2017 after tallying 30-plus assists in each of the Lions' three matches this week. The Merritt Island, Florida native finished the weekend with 23 digs and six kills, helping the Lions to a 2-1 weekend including a 3-0 sweep of Flagler University and a 3-1 win over Rollins College to open conference play. Garrett notched her first double-double of the year with a season-high 47 assists and 10 digs against Rollins. She finished the week with 108 assists (10.8/set) and a .335 set percentage on the weekend. No. 21 Saint Leo is now 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the SSC.

Garrett and the Lions will return to action Tuesday, Sept. 26 when they travel to Tampa for a 7 p.m. match.
