Men’s swimming climbs in CSCAA rankings; women hold in top 25

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's swimming jumped two spots to No. 15 while the Saint Leo women's swimming team clung to a spot among the top 25 in the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)/TYR Division II Top 25 poll, released Tuesday.

In the men's poll, the Lions are one of five Sunshine State Conference teams to earn a national ranking. Florida Tech checked in a No. 10, followed by Saint Leo, No. 17 Nova Southeastern, No. 19 Florida Southern, and No. 25 Tampa.

Saint Leo women's swimming slipped two spots and was ranked No. 25 in Tuesday's poll, and the team was one of three SSC programs to earn a spot in the CSCAA/TYR rankings. Nova Southeastern led the conference with a No. 6 ranking, followed by No. 10 Tampa, then Saint Leo.

Both Saint Leo teams return to action on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, when they travel to Tamap, Fla., to compete in the Tampa Relays.
