Saint Leo Women’s Soccer to host one-day Winter ID Camp

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's soccer team led by head coach Mario Rincon will be hosting a one-day ID Camp on January 13, 2018. The camp is designed for female high school soccer players that aspire to compete at the college level. Saint Leo coaches will run demanding, high-level training sessions starting at 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. All participating athletes should bring a water bottle, shin guards and your own lunch. It is recommended a shirt with a number and the athlete's last name be worn for distinguishing purposes.

Camp Schedule
Session 1 | 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM 
9:30-10:00 | Dynamic warm up and agility
10:00-11:00 | Technical training wheel (15-minute rotation at each coaches station)
11:00-11:45 | Functional training (train in your position, goal keepers split off)  
11:45-12:00 | Cool down and stretch with Saint Leo women's soccer athletes

LUNCH will be provided for a fee. Bring cash or bring your own lunch! 
You may also use this time to tour Saint Leo University. 


Session 2 | 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
2:00-2:30 | Dynamic warm up  (Goal keepers start off separate)
2:30-3:15 | Small sided soccer to large goals (including instruction from staff) 
3:15-4:30 | 11 v 11 (coached by Saint Leo women's soccer coaches while college coaches evaluate)
4:30-4:45 | Closing remarks

You must pre-register online for this event. Registration closes on Friday, January 12. The cost per athlete is $120.00. An early registration discount is available at $95.00 per person before Friday, December 15, 2017.
