SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo freshman Cecilie Holten was named the Sunshine State Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week on Monday, following her performance over the weekend in the Lions' 195-66 win over Rollins College.
Holten won the 100 Breaststroke with an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:04.15 – the fastest time in that event in the SSC this season, and fifth-fastest thus far in 2017-18 in NCAA Division II.
She also captured the 200 Breaststroke in a time of 2:22.40 – the second-fastest time in that event this season in the SSC – and swam the breaststroke leg for Saint Leo's first-place team in the 400 Medley Relay (4:04.61).
