SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo women soccer's
Rosie Young was honored for her work defending the Lions backline during the 2017 season. Young was named third team 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Women's All-South Region.
"She deserves it," says head coach
Mario Rincon. "She deserves every single recognition. She was such a great leader of us on and off the field. I'm really happy for her."
The four-year starter out of Newcastle, England finished her career in the Green & Gold helping the Lions to three shutouts. She recorded nine shots this season with five on frame, tallying four assists towards her career two goals, 11 assists.
