December 20, 2015 | Women's Basketball Big day from Saint Leo post play not enough, fall to Shaw, 64-54 The Saint Leo women’s basketball team fell 64-54 to the Shaw University on Sunday afternoon in the Lions final game of the Lynn Holiday Classic. Saint Leo led the Bears heading into the intermission, but a 68.8-percent shooting performance that saw Shaw hit 11 of 16 shots, proved to be the difference in the end. Saint Leo won both the second and the fourth, but it was not enough to overcome the third quarter gap.

December 17, 2015 | Women's Basketball Saint Leo downed in non-conference match-up, 68-61 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Saint Leo women’s basketball team saw Chachi Guzman record her second double-double of the season in a tough loss to the University of Findlay in a non-conference match-up. The Lions used a solid defense effort to hold the Oilers to just a 8.3 percent shooting in the second quarter to take the halftime lead, 31-26, but it was not enough as Findlay responded with a 61.5-percent third quarter to take a lead that was never relinquished.
