Marc Jordan is in his first year as the Manager of Athletic Communications at Saint Leo University. The University of Tampa graduate joins the Lions after serving two years at his alma mater as the Assistant Sports Information Director.
In his years as the Assistant SID at the University of Tampa, Jordan aided in the management of all of the UT athletic teams including primary duties for volleyball, swimming, and baseball. While working with the program, Jordan aided in the media efforts for the school’s first volleyball National Player of the Year in Danielle Selkridge and the sixth baseball NCAA National Championship in 2013.
Jordan was instrumental in the development of the Spartan's conference-leading social media efforts, as Tampa ranks as one of the top followed Division II programs in the country.
During his tenure at UT, Jordan aided multiple regional
tournaments and served as the official statistician for both
baseball and volleyball NCAA regional events.
Jordan also worked for the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey club as the community relations intern. He was instrumental in assisting the Lightning Foundation community efforts and events while aiding the transition to online donation requests.
The Manchester, N.H., native earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Tampa in 2012 and went on to complete his MBA in sport business in 2014 from Saint Leo. During his time at Tampa, Jordan was a four year student assistant before being promoted to Assistant SID.
He currently resides in Tampa, Fla. and enjoys travel and exercise.
