New Head Coach Embarks on First Trip with SLU Tennis

SAINT LEO, Fla. – New Saint Leo University Tennis Coach James Bryce will experience his first competition as head coach when the Lions compete in the ITA Regional Tournament in Valdosta, Ga. between Thursday, September 24th and Sunday, September 27th.

The Lions will leave for Valdosta State University on Wednesday evening and are scheduled to compete on Thursday morning against teams from around the South Region.

Four Saint Leo upperclassmen Lina Benkirane, Shaena Keefe, Jeanette McDonald and newcomer Selma Hidass will be competing in their first tournament of the new year, and with a new coach on the sidelines.  Joining the four veterans is freshman newcomer Tamara Bustard, who will be competing in her first collegiate event.
